About the maker and his work…
Born and raised in Connecticut, Jim Severson spent 50 years as a design and manufacturing engineer. His passion for creating has taken him past his manufacturing days and into creative and unique woodworking. As an environmentalist, he focuses on simple traditional and durable designs, construction and finishes. He specializes in custom designs (styles, sizes, colors, etc. ) to suit the customer.

Products include, but are not limited to: tables (dining room, kitchen, coffee and end tables); benches; kitchen Islands; small bars; buffets; reception and office desks; podiums; patio couches, chairs, tables.
Material include, but are no limited to: Fresh harvest: cedar, pine, oak, mahogany, walnut, cherry, maple, teak…Oak parquet or ceramic tile inset tops. Reclaimed lumber (as available).
Finishes: Natural, weathered, dyed, and stained.
Jim currently lives in Wareham, MA with his wife Patty and enjoys spending time with his five children and two grand-children.
